  • Ketorolac (trade names include Toradol, Acular, Ketorol, Acularen, Acular-LS, Acuvail, Algikey, Apo-Ketorolac, Dolac, Dolak, Dolgenal, Ketanov, Ketlur, Keto, Ketorolac Teva, Lixidol, Notolac, Novo-Ketorolac, Oculac, Sprix, Syndol) is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). This medication is from acetic acid derivatives and related substances (for systemic, oral usage) and non-steroids antiinflammatory agents (for ophthalmological usage) pharmacological groups. Ketorolac Tromethamine in tablets (Toradol, Ketorol) is indicated for the treatment of moderate to severe pain in adults, dysmenorrhea, idiopathic pericarditis, inflammation, after surgery (in a postoperative setting for the management of moderately severe acute pain that requires analgesia at the opioid level). This medicine is works by affecting some hormones which cause and propel inflammation and pain in the human body. Ketorolac in pills is used alone or in combination with other medications.
    Ketorolac Tromethamine as an ophthalmic solution (Acular) is used to relieve the itching and burning of seasonal allergies. It is also prescribed to reduce swelling, pain, and burning or stinging after cataract surgery or corneal refractive surgery, corneal abrasions.
